Think Pink? Think Again!

During the current month it is seemingly impossible to escape the pink ribbon propaganda, where everybody appears to be displaying excitement over the efforts to raise concerns over an already well known subject; a subject that for many brings back quite sad memories. It is through the exploitation of those memories, as well as the fear of facing similar circumstances, that the promoters of the "pink foundation" achieve their financial goal.

Even though masqueraded with a humanitarian coating, the real purpose of the organization in question is to fill its own pockets and finance a worldwide effort to brainwash the population into accepting the barbaric status-quo of breast cancer treatment. It is also a shameful exploitation of people who have greatly suffered at the hands of the mainstream health care organizations. Individuals who have barely survived the horrid experience of standard cancer care are asked to be part of a race which is basically intended to induce feelings of pity onto the onlookers; and to ultimately coerce them into unplanned generous donations, with the vague promise that their contribution will help future patients and their family members, who are bound to suffer along the side of beloved ones stricken by this apparently untamable beast. This coercion effort is always accompanied by the distant promise of a future miraculous cure, that may be reached only through sustained infusion of endless monetary donations.

Following these preliminary clarifications, we would like to expose additional flaws in this artificial system, beyond the obvious realization that from the very beginning, snails must have been involved in the selected research projects.

This is the inevitable conclusion which must be unavoidably reached, following the realization that, after a quarter of a century of raising billions in search of a cure, the supposedly sought objective is still eluding the supporting organization. The only new outcome, brought forth this year by this "pink foundation," is a loud statement of “I AM THE CURE!”, which is in fact coming to life out of nowhere, since no significant progress has been made to date; this is no doubt in response to the many complaints that are now beginning to surge from all directions. With this in mind, we would like to bring under scrutiny three major problems in the "pink foundation’s" activities:

1) Even though the official purpose of the Foundation’s organized race is to raise and provide funds for research, the true main activity of the foundation has resulted in the stressing and supporting of “Early Detection”.

2) The majority of the money raised (and not used for administrative expenses) is supposedly going to cover the cost of mammograms. However, mammograms have been repeatedly exposed, not only as a very poor method of detection, more often than not providing false positives, but also as one of the causes producing the very cancer against which they are supposed to provide protection. That is not simply an oxymoron, but also a fraudulent activity as absurd as it would be if anyone started providing funds to dictatorships around the globe, under the umbrella of Amnesty International.

3) A large portion of the funds raised, under the pretense and cover of non-existent research efforts, is in fact used to instruct women on how to deal with the devastation of their bodies following standard cancer care. This is nothing more than a way to push patients into accepting something they absolutely do not want, by presenting a glooming future under the false light of a life-saving battle, slightly sugar-coated with the help of an organization (and it's host of "cheerleaders") that is using public donations to “pink-wash" a gloomy path leading only to a life of suffering and sickness.

Based on these undeniable proofs, we must therefore conclude that, by donating to such a fraudulent foundation, we are actually paying to support our own brainwashing and ultimately fund our demise.

In conclusion, we are asking everybody to think before they have the urge to open their pocketbooks and donate to what appears to be a worthwhile cause.

Think and wonder what is really worth our financial assistance. Humanity is certainly in trouble at this point in time and we should all work to resolve the problems at hand, but donating to a rose-colored fraud is not the answer.

Paid research isn’t the answer either because that is only giving people a faint hope that maybe someday the CURE for cancer will be found. We do not need mere hope, we need solutions and we need them now. Too many people have already died of cancer treatment. We need to stand up and demand a valid answer to our question: “Does a cure for cancer already exist?”

Instead of more biased and open-ended research, we need to demand that the appropriate testing be done for the various alternative methods floating around today, in order to determine if one solution exists, and which of the many ignored methods is the one. We need this done NOW, before more people are needlessly hurt and killed by the dangerous “Gold Standard” approaches.
