LASE MED, Inc.'s primary plan has always been to provide the public with a simple way to solve health problems, with the help of hard science and through the use of advanced technology. One particular solution, almost accidentally found, is actually offering a much awaited effective alternative to presently used cancer treatments.

Based on "a well-established rule of general law, ...that it is the patient not the physician, who ultimately decides if treatment - any treatment - is to be given at all..." Our Corporation concluded that the public needs to at least know that there are effective alternatives to the traditional chemo-radiation-surgery sequence, before making a decision that can effect the length and quality of the rest of their lives.

LASE MED, Inc.'s approach to cancer treatment produces irreversible damage to, and consequent death of cancerous tissue, in place and without bleeding, without removal of irreplaceable tissue, and without collateral damage or toxic side-effects.

This task is accomplished in a rather straight-forward manner, through the use of a much improved form of Photo-Dynamic Therapy. The mentioned improvements are accomplished through a simple but new way of utilizing what is already available off-the-shelf and has been FDA approved for a while.

Because this therapy is founded on the Science governing our Universe, over the years different physicians have been on staff to oversee medical problems and deliver the therapy as part of a team lead by a physicist, relying at times on the assistance and active participation of the patient.

We firmly believe that our therapy is only appropriate for people who want to be in charge of their destiny and wish to take personal responsibility for their lives. Our therapy is identified by the acronym : L.I.E.S.H. , which stands for

Light Induced Enhanced Selective Hyperthermia.

It is Light Induced because it is based on the use of light, specifically low power LASER emission.
It is Enhanced because it utilizes a sensitizer, as in standard Photo-Dynamic Therapy, and because it is also emphasizing one of the aspects accompanying standard PDT's reaction.
It is Selective because it is only effecting the malignant tissue.
It is Hyperthermia because heat is always present in any form of energy transfer.

Of course, it has been known for centuries that heat can kill the cause of many maladies; but the problem has always been to find a way to effect only the cancerous tissue and nothing else.

LASE MED, Inc's Technical Team found this solution many years ago, but had to waste more than two decades trying to battle the mistrust, the lack of true scientific knowledge, and the opposition to change that is ingrained in the health care providers' sector.

There is also a large amount of opposition from the general public towards any solution that appears hard to believe, due to its extreme simplicity.

Our answer is: "Let's not forget that all true solutions are simple!" In other words, if an explanation is too obscure and convoluted, it is usually not an explanation at all.

Because our first patient was treated at the inset of the millennium, we like to use the phrase: "It's the dawn of a new era." The statement also expresses our hope and belief that humanity is at a verge of a major change in the way illnesses can actually be minimized if not banned from our planet.
